ABOUT THE COMFORT KREWE

With a profound commitment to enhancing the quality of life for pets and their families, The Comfort Krewe offers a wide array of services, from acupuncture to in-home euthanasia.

WHY WE CARE

Dr. Lynn Britton graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, and she spent over 15 years focused on specialty surgery in clinical practice. While she enjoyed helping thousands of pets return to full function with surgery, Dr. Lynn remained troubled by a deeply personal and professional challenge: witnessing the continued deterioration of pets afflicted with arthritis and other chronic and terminal illnesses. She saw the heartbreak of patients whose mobility continued to decline and the effect this had on everyone in the home. She pursued certification in small animal acupuncture from Chi University in order to maximize pain relief for pets using both Western and Eastern medicine practices. She is also working to achieve certification in rehabilitation therapy. By combining multiple treatment modalities and philosophies, Dr. Lynn is able to provide pets with comprehensive care plans that not only address their underlying medical issues, but also improve their comfort level and quality of life in the process.

Dr. Lynn is a strong advocate for improving the standards of end-of-life care. Her compassionate approach to palliative and hospice care, coupled with her expertise in quality-of-life consultations, offers comfort and dignity to pets and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments. She is a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian, and her experience allows families to say goodbye to their beloved pets in the familiar and comforting environment of their own homes.

Driven by a desire to offer personalized and convenient care, The Comfort Krewe represents a culmination of Dr. Lynn’s professional aspirations and abilities, with an emphasis on her deep empathy for both pets and their families. By bringing her expertise directly to clients’ doorsteps, she aims to provide tailored, high-quality care in a stress-free setting.
